Mon admiration pour l'écrivain irlandais Oscar Wilde décuple et je n'ai encore jamais lu aucune de ses oeuvres au complet. Mais déjà, les extraits que j'ai encourus m'interpellent! Sa lucidité me frappe. J'adore rencontrer des vérités découvertes par d'autres alors qu'elles me sont si appropriées. Le constat qu'elles me conviennent tant me rassure dans mes convictions. Et il faut dire que ces temps-ci, ce sont aux gens décédés et à ce qu'ils ont laissé à la postérité que je m'associe le plus. Morbide? Peut-être! Je me dis que je devrais avoir davantage espoir en mes contemporains. Heureusement, il y en a pour me rappeler que le progrès existe.

Enfin bon, ce post est une ode à M. Wilde, alors voici quelques citations de son cru parmi mes préférées:
